Funding for the Contra Costa Breast Cancer Partnership, provided through the California Department of Health Services using special tobacco tax money, ended February 28, 2002. The State will be providing funding for a six-county Bay Area project focusing on social marketing campaigns related to breast and cervical cancer screening.
