Contra Costa County Environmental Health is responsible for ensuring that all food establishments are operated in compliance with applicable Local, State and Federal regulations. These regulations are intended to guarantee that food will be pure, safe and unadulterated.

File a Garbage Complaint

Contra Costa Environment Health only handles the following types of complaints: Messy neighbors, dog droppings and littering. To file a complaint with CCEH, please fill out our online complaint form. For other types of complaints, please contact these agencies:

Licensed Health Care Facilities

Effective July 1, 2007, Contra Costa Environment Health inspects Skilled Nursing Facilities and General Acute Care Facilities. Please see our LHCF Fee Schedule.
