RMP - Crocket CogenerationCrockett, CACrockett Co-Gen generates electricity using natural gas turbines. The facility is located in Crockett along the Carquinez Strait. The low-pressure steam that is produced during the generation of electricity is used by C&H Sugar, which is adjacent to the Crockett Co-Gen site. The Crockett Co-Gen facility uses aqueous ammonia to remove nitrogen oxide from the stack gas. The nitrogen oxide is formed when the natural gas is burned using air.
