About Nursing at CCHS

CCHS has a variety of nursing positions at the Regional Medical Center, its Health Centers and in other areas of the department. Some are represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA) and some by other unions.

These are three of the more common nursing positions represented by CNA:

Registered Nurse - Beginning Level
Registered Nurse - Experienced Level
Registered Nurse - Advanced Level

Other titles represented by CNA include Advice Nurses, Charge Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Family Nurse Practitioners and Health Services Education and Training Specialists.

Public Health Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses are not represented by CNA.
