Critical Care Unit/Intermediate Care UnitThe Critical Care Unit will provide care for severely ill or potentially severely ill patients and those patients requiring an intensity of care not provided on the other nursing units. The Intermediate Care Unit will provide care for patients whose acuity requires a service or intensity of nursing care not provided on the other medical or surgical units. The medical, surgical, and nursing staffs jointly manage the eight-bed unit. All patients, whether medical or surgical, are seen at least daily by the assigned resident and staff physician. The patients receive specialist-nursing care provided by a staff of professionally trained nurses. Contact Numbers
