Diagnostic ImagingThe Diagnostic Imaging Department is located on the 3rd floor of the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides diagnostic services (routine and specialized) and interpretation for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages, encompassing neonates to geriatric patients. The department provides patients a comprehensive array of high quality, high-tech imaging modalities including:
Using advanced networking capabilities that allow the digital transmission of images; physicians in the Emergency Department or CCU are now able to receive the results of a patient's diagnostic exam within minutes. The department's hours of operation are seven days a week, 24 hours a day. If the diagnostic examination cannot be performed at the facility, patients will be referred to outside services. Outside services to which patients are referred are evaluated for the quality of care they provide on a continuing basis. Contact Information
