Open house March 3 in Richmond for new program for homeless adults with mental illness

An Open House to celebrate the opening of the West County Adult Full Service Partnership, also called Bridges To Home. The mission of the partnership is to support homeless adults who have a serious psychiatric condition.

When

Monday, March 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m

2500 Bissell Ave., Richmond

Who

Members of the partnership include Rubicon Programs, Anka Behavioral Health Services, Mental Health Consumer Concerns, Familias Unidas, Asian Pacific Psychological Services, Shelter Inc. and Contra Costa Health Services Mental Health Division. The event is open to the public.

Why

"The Bridges To Home partnership will create an entity in Richmond dedicated to supporting homeless, mentally ill adults in their journey towards recovery," said Donna Wigand, Director of the Mental Health Division.
