Public Invited to Town Hall Meetings about Methamphetamine

What

The second of three Town Hall meetings in different parts of the county to collect people's experiences about the methamphetamine problem in Contra Costa.

When

Each meeting is 7 - 9 p.m. The upcoming one is April 2 at the REACH Project, 1915 D Street in Antioch. The third is May 10 at Acalanes High School in Lafayette. The first was March 7 at Neighborhood House of North Richmond.

Who

The April 2 meeting is hosted by County Supervisor Federal Glover and the REACH Project. The May 10 meeting is hosted by Supervisor Gayle Uilkema and the Center for Human Development. The March 7 meeting was hosted by Supervisor John Gioia and Neighborhood House.

Why

The meetings are intended to add to information gathered by the Board's Methamphetamine Task Force. A confidential survey will be distributed and collected, which is available at support4recovery.org online.
