Public NoticeLearn What Local Companies Are Doing To Prevent AccidentsThe California Accidental Release Prevention (CalARP) Program requires companies with regulated chemicals to submit a Risk Management Plan (RMP). Contra Costa County's Industrial Safety Ordinance (ISO) requires regulated facilities to submit a Safety Plan (SP). The Risk Management Plan and Safety Plan includes:
The CalARP Program also requires Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) to perform document reviews and audits to ensure that companies are in compliance with the CalARP Program regulations, and are following their RMPs. A forty-five day public comment period for the RMP and reports of Preliminary Audit Findings listed below begins June 25, 2008, and will end on August 11, 2008. RMPs and Preliminary Audit Findings may be reviewed at the Contra Costa Health Services Hazardous Materials Programs Office located at 4333 Pacheco Blvd. in Martinez. Call 925-646-2286 to schedule an appointment. The RMP and Preliminary Audit Findings for this notice may also be reviewed at the locations listed below.
