Dentists & Hygienists Needed
Help fight the "neglected epidemic" in children. County data indicates that 25
percent of children in kindergarten through sixth grade in selected schools in East and
West County had obvious tooth decay. In 1999, dental screening of low-income pre-
schoolers identified 42 percent with obvious decay, up from 37 percent in 1998. Help
meet the county's long-term goal of insuring that every child by age eight has a dental
screening, including teeth cleaning and dental sealants in order to prevent disease.
Join us in providing preventive treatment services to eligible children. Clinics are
held Monday through Saturday at various locations. All supplies and equipment are
provided. Must be California licensed and carry malpractice insure.
