The California Nurses Association (CNA), and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) plan to go on strike starting Monday, November 17, 2025, and end on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. This means they will stop working because they disagree with UCSF Health about their jobs and work plans.
Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) is not part of this strike. But the strike may affect some appointments, surgeries, or other services at UCSF. CCHP wants to make sure you still get the care you need.
If your appointment is changed or you have trouble getting care during the strike, please call CCHP Member Services at 1-877-661-6230, Option 2 (TTY 711). We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We will do our best to help you find other care if needed.
