Travel vaccines are available by appointment only on Fridays.

To schedule an appointment, call 925-608-5350. 

Get information about health precautions and prepare to see a health care provider ideally 4-6 weeks before traveling. Be sure to: 

  • Confirm your travel destination 

  • Contact your Primary Care Provider 

  • Schedule an Immunization appointment 

Payment is due at time of service. The clinic accepts cash, debit and credit card payment. Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members--bring your insurance identification card. No other insurances are accepted.

Hepatitis A - 19 years & older

$85 per dose (2 doses in 6 months required to complete series)

Hepatitis B - 19 years & older;  Heplisav B (not available for pregnant people)

IPV (Polio)

Meningococcal - MenQuadfi (for 55 yrs. and younger only)

Several immunizations need a few weeks to become effective. 

The Contra Costa Public Health Travel Clinic provides travel vaccines. Malaria prescriptions and medications are not provided through this clinic. Please see your health care provider for malaria medications prior to traveling abroad.
